Somebody Cares is very proud to participate in the circular economy. By accepting donations from the general public and business community we are able to either pass on to our clients or resell in one of our retail services or office furniture divisions.

Whatever the destination, by donating to Somebody Cares donators help those in need, prevent items going to landfill and help us to protect our environment.

If you are considering donating goods to Somebody Cares, we ask you to firstly consider if it is something you would be happy to use yourself. If the answer is yes, we would love to see you at one of our donation hubs.

Donation Hubs

We have three donations’ hubs in

  • Hazelhead - West
  • Tullos - South
  • Bridge of Don - North

We are delighted to receive good quality donations at any of these venues.

House Clearance

We are delighted to arrange pickups from house clearances. In advance of collection, we arrange to view the property and give you guidance as to what we will be able to accept. If necessary, we can leave you returnable crates to aid your packing. For further information on house clearances email info@somebodycaresscotland.org or call us on 01224 460700.

Overseas Emergency Response

We are always at the forefront of reacting with speed to any overseas disaster response and operate a separate service to ensure drop off, sorting and onwards journey is dealt with as quickly and effectively as possible.  Working from our base in Tullos the Emergency Response opens as demand dictate.  Announcements are made on Facebook looking for specific donations and short-term volunteers to assist us for this fast turnaround service.

Office Furniture

Our busy office furniture division is often in need of high-quality desks, chairs and general office equipment.  If you have office furniture or equipment, you wish to donate, please email us at office.furniture@somebodycaresscotland.org to discuss.
